How'd We Start?

It began with a passion for the beach and island life. After growing up on our own island paradise, we wanted to start a fun, edgy, catchy brand that would catch the eye of people not for it's tradition, but because we're giving the finger to tradition!

We Began Creating Shirt Designs

Once we knew we wanted to bottle up our island and beach love into a brand, we started thinking of what shirt designs and ideas, quotes, phrases, play-on-words, etc., would be a catch? We came up with a few different dieas.

Nanfuckit Was Born

After some time and ideation, we decided our first design would be "The Island of Nanfuckit", an ode to Nantucket Island but with an edgy, rebellious twist that embodies the country's rebellious spirit.

The Salty Crew Was Born

After getting the initial designs for Nanfuckit, we designed the products, made a store, built a blog, and voila, The Salty Crew (owned by Salty''s Coastal Customs Group, LLC) was born.

April 1, 2025, The Salty Crew became official. Just in time for the summer season
